  Stopped in at black squirrel cafe on our way home from the sunshine coast to get my daughters some water for there bottles and something to eat for the rest of our drive home, I waited over 15 mins with my 11 month old in my arms. there was only 1 man in front of me also waiting to order, the man behind the coffee machine ignored me as did the lady clearing tables. I had to leave because my daughter started crying and disturbing other customers, I waited outside calming her until the man in front of had been served and went back in to order, I was greeted by the man behind the coffee machine he asked what i would like. no apology for my wait, i asked for a bottle of water and some hot chips as i saw them being cooked behind him, he informed me i could not have hot chips unless i ordered a whole meal. which seemed a little harsh as there website says they cater for all diets, i would assume a child's would have been included. apparently not. I got my water and left. all of this took nearly half an hr. I will not be stopping here again nor will i recommend to my family or friends. I was appalled at there customer service skills.

  Burger was pretty good, but definitely not worth $20. The burger & chips deal seamed ok priced until I added bacon, egg & cheese, which turned a $14 deal into a $20 deal. $25.50 with a coffee. The chips were 100% identical to McDonald's fries. These prices I would expect to pay at a nice restaurant bar in the city, not at a cafe in a country town. It was nice, but overpriced for a takeaway lunch.
